Savers Bank of Southbridge has named Stephen E. Day a residential lending officer. Mr. Day, who lives in Dudley, will have responsibility for the origination of mortgages and home equity loans. Mr. Day has 25 years' experience in mortgage and consumer lending and

is a 1996 graduate of the National School of Banking.

Paula L. Green of Shrewsbury has been named director of marketing and community relations, a newly created position, at Anna Maria College in Paxton.

Ms. Green was most recently vice president for account management at Conover + Company Communications Inc. She is a former director of public relations for the Fallon Healthcare System and St. Vincent Hospital. She is a graduate of Emmanuel College and has a master's degree in public administration from Clark University.

David A. Murphy of Boston has joined the Worcester office of Tighe & Bond Inc. as project manager. A registered professional engineer, Mr. Murphy most recently worked as the engineering and construction program manager for Catholic Relief Services. In that position he worked on tsunami relief and reconstruction efforts in Indonesia. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Northeastern University and has more than 20 years' experience managing design and construction, post-disaster reconstruction and environmental programs.

Kristin T. Carvalho has been appointed senior vice president/senior loan officer of commercial and consumer lending at the Milford National Bank and Trust Co. A resident of New Bedford, she most recently served as vice president in the corporate banking division at Citizens Bank of Massachusetts. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and has a master's degree in business administration from Bryant University.

Fallon Community Health Plan of Worcester has appointed Janis V. Liepins assistant vice president of market research and product development. Mr. Liepins, a resident of Boxford, will research customer, industry and marketplace trends to develop and maintain the health plan's product portfolio. He was most recently senior director of market research and planning at Fallon and has previously worked in sales, marketing and provider contracting positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and has a master's degree in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Lisa Gurevich of Worcester has been appointed branch manager at Leominster Credit Union's location at 1316 Main St. in Leominster. A native of Belarus, Mrs. Gurevich is a graduate of the Belorussian Polytechnical Institute, with bachelor's degrees in economics and civil engineering. She moved to the United States in 1992 and has an associate's degree from Becker College. She has worked at Bay State Savings Bank, the former Shawmut Bank, Boston Federal Savings Bank and Fitchburg Savings Bank.

Dr. Erin Doyle of Holden has joined the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Animal Care and Adoption Center in Boston. Dr. Doyle, a graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, previously worked as an associate veterinarian at the Westside Animal Clinic in Worcester.
