Johns Hopkins HealthCare (JHHC), a group providing a full spectrum of healthcare products and services, has joined The Center
Drawing upon the Center's resources and connectivity, as noted in a release, JHHC, a partner of the Johns Hopkins Hospital System and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, expects to strengthen and expand its initiatives, identify new areas of study, and provide its staff with professional collaboration and feedback.
"Johns Hopkins HealthCare is a dedicated advocate for its client-employers, patient-members and physicians," says Patricia M.C. Brown, president of JHHC. "We believe that collaboration creates optimal results for patients and healthy financial outcomes for our clients. Toward that end, our association with the Center will be pivotal in our goal to be recognized as a leader in innovative healthcare solutions."
JHHC develops and manages contractual relationships with managed care organizations, employers, hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Services and support include eligibility database management, member physicians' services, claims adjudication, patient outreach programs, and physician/facility network development. Additionally, JHHC supports care management interventions using clinical and staffing models to better assist members with chronic conditions.
"At the heart of Johns Hopkins HealthCare is our desire to enrich lives by improving health," Brown adds. "This is no small feat when one considers the diversity of our managed care products, as well as the needs of our corporate clients, government contracts, and individual members. The Center will help us find creative new ways to build value-based programs that will reach all audiences, provide the necessary education and tools for successful outcomes, and result in change that ultimately promotes better health and improves the cost trend."
Cyndy Nayer, president of the Center says, "Johns Hopkins Healthcare showcases philosophy and action that drives the value of investing in health. Our collaborative efforts will demonstrate the value of strategic health investments in improving personal, corporate and community health."
