Zurich, a property-casualty insurance company, announced Marcia Munn has joined the company as head of its Specialties

Professional Liability unit, part of its North America Commercial business division.

In the role, Munn will lead a nationwide team that develops and markets Zurich's portfolio of both medical and non-medical professional liability insurance products.

Munn brings 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry to Zurich, with a background in specialty products. Prior to joining Zurich, she was vice president for underwriting with Western Heritage Insurance in Scottsdale, Ariz. and served in a variety of leadership roles with CNA and Chubb.

"Marcia has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills throughout her career," said Seraina Maag, president of Zurich's Specialties unit. "In her previous roles, she has brought a new level of customer focus and relationship building to her organizations. She has consistently improved service for customers and producers, expanded new business opportunities and built high-performance teams.
