MALVERN, Pa., Nov. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. and International Rectifier have now executed definitive documentation with respect to their previously announced agreement providing for Vishay's acquisition of International Rectifier's Power Control Systems (PCS) business

Vishay announced that it will hold a conference call tomorrow, Thursday November 9, at 10:00 AM ET to give more detail about the integration of the PCS business into Vishay.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including obtaining all necessary governmental approvals and clearances. The transaction is expected to close in February 2007.
