PARKER HANNIFIN NAMED WORLDWIDE BIOWORKS SALES PARTNER.

Parker Hannifin's Instrumentation Products Division has been named the exclusive worldwide sales partner for BioWorks, LLC. BioWorks, based in Easton, Penn., is a manufacturer of innovative valves and other specialty devices for the biotechnology industry.

Parker will utilize its worldwide

network of distributors to promote BioWorks products, which are already in use at some of the industry's most well-recognized companies, including Merck and Sanofi Pasteur. BioWorks was founded by Burns Moore, Tom Warf, and Ross McLennan.

The BioWorks product line includes innovative, single-use valve seal technology that can dramatically reduce the time manufacturers spend sterilizing and validating traditional valve designs. This can result in dramatic savings and faster sample collection and analysis. The product line includes single-use pinch valves in two-way, tee and divert configurations, radial diaphragm valves, 25 mm side-port valves, sterile sample cups, and many other products.

"Parker Hannifin has tremendous worldwide brand recognition, and serves nearly 400,000 clients around the globe," said Bill Sayavich, Market Development Manager, Parker Instrumentation Products Division. "Parker is building an exceptional and highly specialized distribution channel with knowledge of the sanitary processing industry to help bring the new products to market."

With annual sales exceeding $9 billion, Parker Hannifin is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of commercial, mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. The company employs more than 57,000 people in 43 countries around the world. Parker has increased its annual dividends paid to shareholders for 51 consecutive years, among the top five longest-running dividend-increase records in the S&P 500 index.
